  Geotextiles have the function of separation, filteration, reinforcement, protection, or drainage.

Different types of geotextiles have their own advantages and disadvantages.We need to choose different woven or nonwoven geotextiles to use in different applications according to their characters. For example,when we use geotextile as protection layer so what characters we need to concern at prioriety?They are mass weight,thickness,CBR & elongation,grap strength and tear resistance.
