          Pond liners are mostly the HDPE geomembrane, that’s because the HDPE geomembranes have excellent puncture resistant and chemical resistant, after adding the color master batch into PE liner, the geomembrane would have excellent UV-resistance, especially like in South-Africa where have extremely UV conditions, the best HDPE pond liner can service for up to 70 years or longer. Even it cost more than ordinary ponds without liners, the benefit it brings in the last decades have far more exceed its original cost. The pond liner can prevent contaminants from entering groundwater source or streams and prevent water from seepage.
