                How to Install TPO Roofing Membrane

     TPO roofing membrane have many advantages, TPO is more durable because TPO do not need plasticizers; TPO do not release toxic gas; TPO’s reflective properties reduce energy costs by reduce heat in winter and cooler in summer which made a TPO roof an Energy Star.

  There are 3 methods of installation of TPO roofing membrane: fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted. Fully adhered is use glue to attach the membrane to the roof; Mechanically attached is using nails (screws) or other fasteners to stick the roofing membrane on roof; Ballasted means lay down the membrane loosely on roof, put on rocks or some other things and then seal all of the edges.
